The world’s biggest chandelier?
A huge energy-friendly chandelier - the only of its kind in the world, was installed at Lizzies Plads. The light changes colour according to season and will during winter shine in cool colours and in warm during summer.
The crown was constructed by Light Constructor, designed by Lasse Schelde and created in cooperation with Agendacenter Amager, Røde Møllegård 1, Copenhagen Municipality.
Alumeco A/S has made the bottom and top caps for the acrylic pipes, where the LED lights are mounted. The lights are installed in a large, rolled stainless steel ring, wire-mounted between masts.
